His clients included some international companies from Japan, China, and the U.S. He also works on asylum and refugee cases, among them was the high-profile Yukun Jia case. In that case, the 12-year-old Chinese girl escaped from a school trip to the United States and met with her father in Massachusetts. Dr. Lu represented her pro bono, applied political asylum petition on her behalf for the prosecution she might have if she went back to China, and eventually got her a green card.
